Dr. Skopec is the Executive Director of Iowa Lakeside Laboratory. Dr. Skopec earned her BS and MA degrees in geography from the University of Iowa, and in 1999, she completed her interdisciplinary PhD in environmental science at the University of Iowa. Mary is also a member of the National Water Quality Monitoring Council and the National Advisory Committee on Water.
