Biography
I am a medical geographer pursuing a PhD degree in Geography. I obtained my BS in Geographical Science at Wuhan University, China, and my MA in Geography here at the University of Iowa. My research interests center on infectious diseases, human-disease interactions. In my research, I utilize genetic information of pathogens to reconstruct their evolutionary histories and examine the patterns in relation to human ecological landscapes.
