Department majors Emmeline Kraus (Geography) and Bob Pentuic (EPPL) will be presenting posters at the Fall Undergraduate Research Festival (FURF)!
Undergraduate students involved in research projects will be presenting their work to the campus and general public on the 2nd level of the Old Capitol Town Center on November 2nd between 4:00 and 6:00 PM. Each presenter has an assigned number; odd-number presenters will be presenting between 4:00 and 5:00 PM while even-number presenters will be presenting between 5:00 and 6:00 PM.
- Geography and Environmental Science double-major Emmeline Kraus (poster number 74), mentored by Drs. Matthew Dannenberg and Susan Meerdink, will be presenting “Seasonal Effects of the Fungal Pathogen Tubika iowansis (bur oak blight) on the Photosynthetic Capacity of Infected Quercus macrocarpa (bur oak)” from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
- Environmental Policy major Bob Pentuic (poster number 84), mentored by Dr. Ben Swanson of EES, will be presenting “Camp Cardinal Creek: Creek Water Quality” from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
